When do you need to be living in Bucks by? Presumably you need to move there for work / to be nearer relatives, otherwise why have your DC sit a remote area's selection test when you live within a few miles of several grammar schos currently? Thanks for the Info.
Does anyone have Historical Info for Out Of Catchment Allocation ?
I am based in Gloucester so not sure If I need to put any School in the option ?
You need to submit your application through the LA where you live at the time of application, so presumably GCC, but you can name any state school in England on the same form. The usual advice is to put the schools in the area that you are miving to as higher preferences (because even if you don't get a place initially - and it seems unlikely that any GS in Buckinghamshire would allocate down to 'OOC, at a distance of however far it is between the school and Gloucester' - your DC will be on the waiting list(s) from the outset), but also include as a low(est) preference your current area 'banker' school, which ensures that your DC has a school to go to if the move falls through altogether, or at least doesn't proceed as quickly as you. hoped.
In this case, you would probably also need to name, somewhere in the middle, one or two Upper schools in Bucks, as a (hopefu) fall-back if no places come up in later rounds at a grammar school once you've moved. Looking at the allocations for previous years will give an idea as to which Upper school(s) is / are likely to yield a place sometime before September.
