Is there a reason why you are trying to get your DS away from the really very good grammar (and some very good comprehensive) schools in Gloucestershire? If it's because you found out too late to comply with the residence requirements for the other areas that you need to move for work / family reasons, then you'll just have to move and hope that a place comes up in later allocation rounds. You can apply for any school in or out of area on your Gloucestershire CC CAF (in fact, you have to name all the schools you are going to on the single form you complete where you are living at the time of application), so if you know roughly where you need to move to, name a range of schools in that area as highest preferences on your form. Grammar(s) at the top if you would really wanta grammar place of one were eventually to be offered. You may be lucky and hit on an undersubscribed non-selective school which will offer even all the way to Gloucester, but even if you end up with your nearest undersubscribed school in Gloucester initially, you will be on the new area schools' waiting lists from the off and will move up on the lists based on distance as soon as you have an address in the new area. Thanks for the Info.
Does anyone have Historical Info for Out Of Catchment Allocation ?
I am based in Gloucester so not sure If I need to put any School in the option ?
