My son passed the Bexley test. We are now moving into the area and have enquired about evidence needed for Bexley council to take over his CAF application. We are able to show evidence of the move with tenancy agreement, utility bills, etc. However, for our previous property we were advised on top of the closure of the council tax and utility accounts, we would need to provide : Solicitor’s document confirming completion of the purchase of the property or a copy of your new 1 year tenancy agreement if you are renting.
We would be unable to sell the property in this timeframe and were planning to rent it out – would renting out not be allowed? There doesn't seem to be any leeway for ownership of more than one property. We have no intention of returning to our old property- we want to buy in Bexley once we get to know the area and have requested in-year admissions for our children to attend primary schools locally. Any advice from parents who have previously undergone this process? Any help would be much appreciated.
