A few years ago, Latymer published the intention to run various bus services (there were posts about it on here), but the annual cost to parents was, iirc, £1800 and at least one of the routes more or less duplicated an existing tfl one, but taking 90 minutes from the furthest stop instead of about 60. Which seemed a little odd, given the school's stance on its catchment area being chosen just so that pupils don't spend an unacceptable length of time on their commute.
I don't know whether the service ever got off the ground, but I would not be surprised if the interest was too low to make it viable, given the availability of a virtually free public alternative.
