This is what i’ve always been against the new policy. They think that by having local catchment would reduce travelling chaos etc but they never thought about the impact on house price/rent closer to schools.🤦‍♂️ In addition, there is the sibling factor as well, which means that even the younger sibling who only gets the minimum PS would block another child (with much higher score & perhaps the first in the family clan to go to a grammar school) the chance of attending a GS.
I would strongly encourage you to see the KE Foundation about this. What a nightmare!
