So you don’t consider it unethical to move into an area specifically to get a priority school place, then deliberately move back to your previous property once the school place is taken up? Why can’t you just continue to live live close to the school if you want your child to go there?
The admission authorities have a name for parents who do this: “playing the system” with no intention of living pernamently in the school area, and see it as address fraud. Which it is: it deprives genuine local families of places at the school. Your school place can be removed if you commit address fraud EVEN IF your child is at the school all year.
The rules are not there to spite you, they are there BECAUSE of parents like yourself who do not care about fairness, only about their own gain at the expense of more honest families.
