This sounds like an excellent structure but you do need to put focus on the VR as both Latymer and DAO use a VR paper to reduce the numbers of English papers they have to mark.
DAO have around one thousand applicants and they only take the top 325 scores from the MC VR first round to the standard format
English and Maths second round. This means that for every three that sit the VR only one returns for the English and Maths.
Latymer had 2500 applicants sitting the MC VR and Maths first round last year and only 700 got through to the second round where the English paper is marked.
So for both schools some students who would have scored very highly in English in the second round never have the chance to sit the paper as their VR for DAO and VR and Maths for Latymer is not strong enough.
