Firstly congratulations to your son for a good score.
Grammar school places at KES are very sought after and if your choice is likely to be grammar versus independent provisiom, and KES is the one you and your son like, putting KES at the top of your CAF is probably best unless there is another state school you like better (remember to put back up state school options in case for some reason he does not qualify after all).
CAF is only for state schools: you apply to any indies in a seperate process. so they don’t need naming on a CAF
Regarding specific support at that GS, Have you discussed directly with KES what their support is?
